District 3 Supervisor race still too close to call

In a race with over 19,600 votes cast, the margin between Justin Cummings and Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson is less than 100 votes....

What a wild election cycle this has been! 8 days after the election, the race in district 3 is still neck and neck. Justin Cummings has 8969 votes reported, and Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson has 9061 reported votes. Prior to Wednesdays results drop, Justin Cummings had 7740 reported votes and Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson had 8074 reported votes with a 300+ vote margin. This shows that in the last drop of results, Cummings has made up ground against Kalantari-Johnson. This election is not over yet, the Santa Cruz County Elections Office posted that they still have nearly 7,000 votes left to tally from around the county. This race will continue to draws eyes from all over the county.
